Over the years, I've spent time in front of the camera and behind it. These Photos of the past and the present represent a collage of my life. The past hasn't defined me it's just sharpened my vision of the future. I always see myself as a work in progress.
I'm a constant observer of the world around me. I think that's why I'm drawn to photograph and paint. It's an attempt to capture "moments" and immortalize them for a lifetime.
I'm much more impressed by the works of others. I'm inspired and challenged by the excellence of the great painters and photographers I've known and continue to seek out. They are the rock stars of my world.
I'm extremely grateful for the ability I have to understand color and composition. It's definatley been a gift in my life.
California Girl
Born and raised in Southern California. I grew up near Newport Beach and so much of my life centered around the beach and the beach culture. I did print work for an agency in Costa Mesa, dated a California Angel and worked for one of the 90210 Beverly Hills surgeons (seen on T.v.)
I had a great life and will always be a "California Girl"
When I'm holding my camera or when I'm painting or drawing I'm coming to terms with my own integrity, all the unessentials present themselves with great clarity. I see the world in a constant state of composition, color and beauty.
I have an absolute phobia of having my photo taken, unless by a professional or myself.
I also don't celebrate my birthday and don't like people to know the date. I never wear green or orange. I wont sit with my back to an entrance of a restaurant.
