Over the years, I've spent time in front of the camera and behind it. My interest in photography started with my first 35mm SLR when I was about 12. The Photos of the past and the present represent a collage of my life and life experiences. The past hasn't defined me it's just sharpened my vision for the future. I'm still a work in progress. As a watercolorist, my camera is my best friend and the digital computerized world has endless possibilities.
I've never thought being an artist was ever about drawing or painting. I don't even like to refer to myself as an "Artist" because it tends to sound pretentious and it's such a broad label.
To me it's always been about being an observer of the world around me. I'm driven to capture moments, lighting, feelings and memories. Am I able to hold on to them a bit longer. To return to the painting or photograph years later and still remember and feel that moment captured in time.
I enjoy other artists works much more than my own.
They're the rock stars of my world.

California Girl
Born and raised in Southern California. I grew up near Newport Beach and so much of my life centered around the beach and the beach culture. I did print work for an agency in Costa Mesa, dated a California Angel and worked for one of the 90210 Beverly Hills surgeons (seen on T.v.)
I had a great life and will always be a "California Girl"

When I'm holding my camera, there's no question about who I am and where I want to go. When I'm painting or drawing I'm coming to terms with my own integrity, all the unessentials present themselves with great clarity. I see the world in a constant state of composition, color and beauty. There is no logic in my world, only feelings. I process everything in my heart.
I think too much, I daydream constantly. I'm content with my own company.
I have an absolute phobia of having my photo taken, unless by a professional or myself.
I also don't celebrate my birthday and don't like people to know the date. I'm grateful everyday for my life.
The first thing I notice about anyone is their eyes.

A question I get asked often thru my websites, believe it or not is "Are you married or have a boyfriend" so I decided to do address it on my "Bio" page.
Not married, no boyfriend at the moment. I was married once and have two handsome teenage boys. I can see myself marrying again someday in the future. But...I don't know, blame it on
or something but It takes an odd mix of qualities to pique my attention. An interesting man has a sarcastic sense of humor, unique eyes, highly intelligent, enjoys outdoor activities, hiking, gardening, is humble, kind, into photography, healthy, knows how to "play". Grey hair is sexy, doesn't shave everyday is good. No.1 for me, makes me laugh!!
There, so now ya know everything!!
